About Me

Hannah Tosch, M.Ed., LCMHC, LPC, ATR
Licensed Counselor and Art Therapist

The foundation of my approach is person-centered. I believe that you are insightful, whole, and okay as you are. Grief is not a problem to be "fixed". Grief is a painful, challenging, and normal part of being human. I'm not here to fix, change, or to make you "get over" your loss (I don't believe that's helpful).  My goal is to walk alongside you as you grieve. I hope that by deeply listening and creating a safe space for you to simply feel and be heard, your grief (and you) will evolve and change. I will work to help you learn new coping skills, honor your feelings, and trust your own voice. Sometimes we'll talk about your loss and other times we may draw, paint, journal, or meditate. I will be right beside you as you walk this path of grief.

Experience

I have over 12 years of combined mental health experience. My work has included community mental health, recovery support, hospice and palliative care, and cancer education and support.

"There are no quick fixes to grief. No easy answers. Every expression of grief that wants to be felt and honored and given it's space must be allowed... in order to heal."
